Silhouette Box Lantern
Step by step
Assembly
Here's a step by step guide to making this lantern

The box measures
7.25" high
4.5 wide
3"deep (front to back)
I cut the front out of one singe A4 card sheet and the same with the back
I used 1 A4 sheet for the 3 tree layers
and 1 A4 sheet for the top and base inserts
I used acetate for the windows but you can use a vellum if you want a frosted effect.
You can purchase this design here

The lantern has compartments in both the top and bottom for tealights so you can add light from either the top or bottom or both as I have in the image above
the tealight in the top go in upside down as shown in as image below the assembly instructions :)

Shadow Box lantern Step by Step
Assembly instructions
Please do note that these instruction will also help you build any of the Shadow Box lanterns, they all go together in the same principle, the only thing that is different are the layers for the scene, but they still go in the box the same way :)

This was one I made in blue to give a midnight moon effect

This one I made in red to give a dawn or sunset effect

Purchase this design HERE
I Made the whole box card from heavy card stock just using different colours,
and a vellum was used for behind the moon/sun

Below you will find some step by step pictures of me building the blue box.
Follow the number on the pictures to give you the order of the build :)

NEW
Pop Up cards
Assembly Instruction
below

Some new designs in the shop today :)
This one is the Pony carousel

In the shop now - get this design
 here

Here is a step by step
tutorial on the pop up card
I've taken as many images as I can to help provide a good idea for you.
It might seem like a lot of work but it isn't really. It just looks it because of the amount of images I've added.

Both are easy to make.

Simply cut all the pieces
I used heavy cardstock (260gsm) for the outer card
and light paper (120gsm) for the inner card (the pop up section)

The inner section you will need to tease to make it all pop up. you will need a little patience , just take your time and gently press each fold into the direction it needs to go, refer to the images to see which way the folds go :)

Just glue the 2 parts together. The inner
card glues to the inside of the outer card keeping the center scores lined up and then add the bows or ponies depending on which card you're making :)
